EX Skills
Added in the February 28, 2019 patch, EX skills are special skills that already increase the stats of a certain idol card prior to the start of a produce run. These skills can help make produce runs much better, as these special skills can give an idol the advantage early on.
General Info
EX skills are obtained after a produce run. All idols have ex skills, but the ex skills of one idol cannot be used for another. But the ex skill of one idol can be used to any card of that particular idol, regardless of rarity. Both produce and support cards have ex skills and produce ex skills cannot be used for support cards, and vice versa. These ex skills also have rarities of their own, ranging from bronze (the most common), silver, gold and rainbow (the rarest).
Equipping EX Skills
To equip EX cards, one must go to the idol menu and press the purple idol list button on the top right. Then click either the produce idol or support idol buttons to check out the list of produce/support idols. Then click on the card they wish to give EX skills to. On the idol profile page, the rightmost tab contains all the ex skill info.
Unlocking EX Skill Slots
Produce and support card have different ways to unlock ex skill slots.
EX skill slots for produce cards can be unlocked in two steps:
- Unlock the true end for any SR/SSR of that given idol.
- Have at least 1000000/10000000/100000000 fans for that idol
Doing these two requirements will unlock the EX skill slots for all Produce cards for that idol.
As for support cards, it depends on the rarity, level and uncap level of the support cards.
For Support SSRs:
- Slot 1: At least lvl 60
- Slot 1: At least lvl 70 + uncapped at 2*
- Slot 1: At least lvl 80 + uncapped at 4*
For Support SRs:
- Slot 1: At least lvl 50
- Slot 1: At least lvl 60 + uncapped at 2*
- Slot 1: At least lvl 70 + uncapped at 4*
For Support Rares:
- Slot 1: At least lvl 40
- Slot 1: At least lvl 50 + uncapped at 2*
- Slot 1: At least lvl 60 + uncapped at 4*
For Support Normals, all three slots will be unlocked at lvl 10
