say "Halo" is a Produce mode scenario that was introduced to the game on the December 23, 2024 update.
S.T.E.P. is unlocked by completing Season 1 of W.I.N.G. and creating a Fes Idol at least once.
This mode also allows to customize idols required for Link appeals with other unit members.

"say Halo" also utilizes Knowhow book similar to S.T.E.P., but with some differences.
In "say Halo", only 1 Knowhow book may be used. In addition, Knowhow only drop once between Stage 1 & Stage 2 and drop chance is 100% no matter the level.
Knowhow level now offers a discount instead in ability shop for a -5%/-10%/-15%/-20%/-30%/-50% off with Lv1/Lv2/Lv3/Lv4/lv5/Lv6 respectively.

There are 2 important parameters in "say Halo": Team Popularity (チーム知名度) and Team Completion (チーム完成度).
Team Popularity increases after doing activities in "say Halo" and increases points gain. There is no upper limit to this rating.
Team Completion increases after participating in Auditions and Team Training and increases overall point gain. Team completion caps at 100% rating.
In "say Halo", player may recruit additional members during Stage 1 or after Lives during Stage 2 & 3. They may be used to change Link Appeal members and they may also appear in lesson rooms providing additional Advice tokens.
However each additional member also reduces Team Popularity and Team Completion growth. Player may dismiss team members at any time in team info (チーム情報) to reduce/avoid the penalty.

Auditions are unlocked after Stage 2.
In addition to stats & SP, all successful auditions and lives will also give +1 and +10 Affection.

Team Training
Team Training are special training lessons that consumes Advice tokens.
Advice tokens can be gathered with standard lessons, with Excellent effects doubling or even tripling token gain. Auditions also give a guaranteed 1x Best Advice (SSR) token , which may substitute for any missing tokens.
Team Training may still be performed even without sufficient tokens, but effectiveness will be reduced by 3% for each missing token. This can create situations where Team Training produces zero gain, so be mindful of your Advice count before attempting Team Training.

Keyword
Keywords will appear on the Fes Idol created once the hidden criteria is met. Some abilities may require specific Keywords to activate.
Unlike Team Training or Target Live abilities, the Keyword itself does not offer any effects in Fes. The abilities must be inherited onto a Knowhow Book in order to be re-learned for usage in Grade FES or Fes-adjacent modes.

General Strategy
- The most effective strategy is recognized as the Audition-Only run, which does not utilize the Custom Link Appeal mechanic, but produces high-stat results and aims to unlock Comprehensive Training alongside the Utahime, Pro-Dancer, and Top Model Keywords.
- Supports that provide Multi-Attribute Stat Uncaps are extremely ideal, making the run more consistent, such as S-SSR12 Kiriko or S-SSR9 Natsuha. Your SP Gain will help lighten the load of points you will need by Season 3.
- Season 1: Participate in Lessons as necessary, while selecting Idols based on the Supports chosen, to increase the chance of earning Best Advice.
- Season 2: Dismiss your chosen Idols as soon as possible, only keeping them around if a Lesson room looks promising (ie: 3+ Idols in one Lesson Room with Best Advice available, Excellent as a bonus)
- Participate in Auditions to raise your total fan-count, SP, and Team Completion. It is recommended to clear Rhythmic Diva 1x during Season 2. To raise your odds of success, increase your Idol's base stats using gathered points from easier Auditions.
- Camp Weeks: Participate in 2x Photoshoots to generally raise stats, or Audition if no Lesson rooms look appealing. Alternatively, if Season 1 had a high amount of excess Advice / Best Advice, participate in Room Discussion 1x (施設効率相談)
- Season 3: Continue to participate in Auditions, aiming to clear Love Letter No Answer, and any two of Top Vocalist, Top Dancer, Top Expresser (Ideally, the stat(s) that are not your primary stat, so Dance + Visual if producing a Vocal Idol)
- Spend as much of your SP on Stat Uncaps, utilizing Multi-Stat / Rainbow Uncaps when available. Raise your Appeal Stats on Vocal, Dance, and Visual to 1000+ before the first week of Training Camp is complete.
- Additionally, if you want to increase SP gain and net a higher Fan Count for the sake of useful passives via Utahime Gakuen and Nanairo Memories, look to clear the 130,000 and 185,000 Auditions early in the season, to allow time for the above Auditions.
- Camp Weeks: Participate in 2x Comprehensive Training (総合能力強化練習), utilizing the Best Advice gathered from all the Auditions. If you avoid Room Discussion in Season 2, these will both be 100% Growth thanks to the Best Advice.
- Finalize your points as necessary, and aim for 1835 - 2000+ in each of the 3 Appeal Attributes, adjusting around the Base Stats UP abilities inherited through Knowhow. Leftover points can be converted into Abilities at your discretion.
