Kogane Tsukioka is one of the idols that can be produced in THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS. She is voiced by Karin Isobe. She is part of the quintet unit L'Antica, with Mamimi Tanaka, Sakuya Shirase, Yuika Mitsumine and Kiriko Yukoku.

Character Description[edit | edit source]

Kogane is a girl from Nagasaki with a thick accent and a drive to be noticed as an idol. She is clumsy but confident, and her positive personality and cuteness give her a charm and popularity as she starts her idol career. She is the center of L'Antica, and does her best to fit the unit's cool image.

In the "Mawaru Haguruma, Unmei no Toki" Event, Kogane is shown to be excitable and easily flustered. She and the others run 50 laps around the lesson room until Yuika points out that that's a rash decision and there are better ways to train. But Kogane is very enthusiastic and says they can do it if they work hard. This ties into the main plot of the event - they can't just run, they need to know what destination they're running to. So Kogane starts to work out what kind of idol she wants to be. The girls go to karaoke to get to know each other and what their feel as a unit would be. Kogane offers to go first to lighten the mood and sings an enka from her hometown. This shows her love of her hometown and her confidence, since she's willing to go first so no one else has to. During this scene, the girls decide on "Gothic" for their unit concept. Kogane encourages Sakuya that it will fit her too. When the girls' outfits arrive, they aren't what they imagined. But Kogane just notes that that's how life is, and the girls plan to customize the dresses. She also scolds Mamimi for not being serious, but when Mamimi shows her caring and kind side, Kogane gives her a kind apology immediately. Finally at their debut live, Kogane is very pumped up. She shows her leader qualities by encouraging her friends while also recognizing ways they can improve. The event ends with Kogane calling for an evaluation meeting at the karaoke bar.
