Character Description[edit | edit source]

Meguru is a friendly and energetic girl from America. She loves sports and dancing, and just being active and moving her body in general. She is emotional and gets along with almost anyone. Her father is Japanese while her mother is American. She is a first year in high school like her illumination STARS unit members Mano Sakuragi and Hiori Kazano.

Meguru is a member of illumination STARS. Unlike her unit mates, Meguru does not have many doubts and worries about the unit. She is excited to make new friends and work closely with her fellow idols. Mano and Hiori tend to doubt themselves, and Meguru serves as an unconditionally positive force to keep them going. She helps Mano improve by giving her personal dance lessons on their off days, and helps plan a surprise party to cheer Hiori up after she was sick. Meguru does get sad sometimes, though, and it seems like she gets lonely very easily. She does not like working alone, and needs her friends by her side just as much as they need her.
